I also have an advent TV - I am trying to program the remote that came from my cable company with my DVR and there are no codes that seem to make the damn TV respond. I was able to program my old remote from the cable company to work the TV, but this new remote doesn't have the same codes.
My new remote is from Scientific Atlanta and is Model # AT8400.
Just for an FYI - the old code I used was 0761
Maybe I should re-mortgage the house and just buy a new LCD TV!!! AGGGGRRRR!!! - Can anyone help?
