Hi, I'm using pronto edit on an XP service pack 3 virtual machine on my Mac.  Installed ProntoProEditNG v2.1.8.   I can't download to upload to the TSU7000.  Receiving error "The connected device is not supported by ProntoProEdit NG".   Installed drivers per Lyndel McGee (Sept 18, 2005) Instructions to find the driver in the Philips software folder (initially had issue finding driver).  Do I need a certain firmware to use v2.1.8?  How do I check the firmware on the remote without connecting?   When I connect the remote, the computer recognized the remote and adds to device manager.  I also had similar problems using an old XP laptop that I tried.  Also, when I attempt to connect to the TSU7000, the remote locks up and I have to remove the battery to reboot.
