Something cool I am working on. Theater owner wants a custom plaque to place on the wall at the entrance. This is just a mockup, but it will be brushed aluminum and glass.

That does look awesome. I have this water metal cutting / powder coating guy I found a while back to create a fancy street address sign for me, and the later on an anniversary word art sign, and the quality was excellent… bet I could whip up some cool theater-related signs!

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

I wonder how long it would take to cut that on a Cricut

The black lettering and Dolby Digital double D on the glass are cut from vinyl (on my Cricut). I use my laser engraver / cutter for the background piece since it will be perfect every time, and it can also create the pilot holes for the screws.

I use my Cricut to create all kinds of theater items.

It's an inside joke with Mac.   I mainly use my Cricut, so far, to create sticker labels for my laser engraved items.  I haven't done much vinyl on it, simply because it wasn't really the use I bought it for.  I would like to at some point.  I really have to get my workspace in order first, its a mess.  Where did you get this plaque?  I know JDS has some options and may try some when I get my new laser.  Currently only have a Galvo style and waiting for the release of a specific gantry style laser I have had my eye on for a while that is due for release by end of next month.  That will provide a much better platform for something like this, just based on size.

I make these myself. 110# Obsidian Black card stock, 3M semi-metallic gold vinyl, and I order the frames by the gross from Amazon, then put it all together and ship them out.

Most people want three at a time, and I can make them with any text or logo.

I have seen the metallic ones, except you either have to frame them, or double stick them to the wall. This is why I offer framed only. They can sit on a table if needed since the frame has a kickstand.

Problem is the metallic ones are 8" x 12", and frames are impossible to find.

I have a digital movie poster solution too:

Plug it onto any TV (or projector) and it will display 13K posters and play 200 hours of music on a loop. Portrait and landscape options are included, although most people use portrait mode.
