I had tow posts in the professional forum and didnt get any responses so I thought i would copy them over here and see if I can get some help:) The code that I found that works best (203) is kind of glitchy. For example when I bring up the guide it will just randomly slide over to the right and sometimes just lock up.
Just got a new Arris AX013amn Xfinity X! set top box with the voice control remote. Been playing around all day trying to program my MX 850 (I have had the software for more than 10 years) to control this thing. I got one code that will control some functions but the box wants me to "pair the remote". I updated the database. In the database under comcast there is an Xfinity code and that is the one that gives me partial control.
So, I have about given up on the 850 which is very sad because I love this remote (I have 2). Does URC make a remote that will control this box or is there something I am missing with 850? Thanks for your help.
Ok, did some checking on the interwebs and found that code 203 will control the most used buttons. There is no voice control (no biggie) and I learned how to unpair it. Cant control power but not going to get real concerned about that for now. If anybody knows a power code or if URC has something that will do better would appreciate the feedback.

I would just leave the cable box on, why bother turning it off?

If you are controlling your Xfinity Cable Box with IR: Use URC Codeset 195 If you are controlling your Xfinity Cable Box with RF: Use URC Codeset 202
To switch the voice remote to IR from RF: if its an xr2, xr5 or xr11 remote: hold setup until the red light on the remote turns green, then type 987
hope that helps, I have had one MX-850 successfully control the X1 box.
