I am looking into using a dedicated iPhone or iPod touch as a wifi remote and I would like it to more remote-like, i.e. with some hard-buttons below the screen (something on the lines of the Nevo S70 or RTI T3-V+). Are there any cases with built-in Bluetooth keypads that fit below the screen and encompass the IOS device ? Probably not, but worth a try ! It shouldn't be difficult to produce and would be awesome and reasonably inexpensive.

I'm totally with you. Crestron released info about such a case, but then they pulled it. Seeing the new game controller interface being sold, I imagine a hard button remote wouldn't be too far behind.

iPhone is considered as a revolutionary Smartphone and has changed people's perception about mobile phones. This portable, modern-day gadget is no less than a personal computer.
