I know you can "hide" the mode menu to prevent accidental changes, but how do you recover the mode menu? Tried 2nd panel of "setup" but it donest show there. Need to add new items but cant w/o mode menu.

Try this. Open up ProntoEdit and check the 'Home' properties in your CCF. If the CF is protected the Mode Menu will not show up. [Link: remotecentral.com]Lyndel
