As I recall, you can scroll between input type (analog/digital/auto) with successive presses of the input button or IR commands. You'll have issues if the input is on "auto" because the 2400 will prefer the
active digital input. If the digital input is not always active or always inactive, you will not be able to guarantee which input will actually be used by simply issuing the input command -- successive input commands
may be required. If your program never allows the unit to stay in "auto" mode, you might be able to work out a sequence of CD, CD-CD, CD-CD-CD, etc. (for example) commands that will end up using the desired source. (or you could go insane trying)
If you are comfortable with macros, you can use the following IR codes to directly switch digital or analog:
Digital: 900A 006D 0000 0001 7E81 A956
Analog: 900A 006D 0000 0001 7E81 AA55
