Been a member of this forum since 2003. Doing an upgrade. Looking for a basic universal remote w/1 button programming to turn on device and change TV input. The two devices I have connected to the TV is a Spectrum DVR Box and a NVidia Shield Pro.

I like the Spectrum DVR remote but there is now way to hit a button on it to turn on the TV, Turn on the DVR and change HDMI input.

items I am using on this install.
a) Cable Box Remote RC122 from a Spectrum TV Cable Box
Spectrum Cable Box Manufacturer Cisco Model 9865HDC_2
b) Samsung TV Remote BN59-01274A Smart Remote
SAMSUNG Q60T Series 43-inch Class QLED Smart TV | 4K, UHD Dual LED Quantum HDR | Alexa Built-in | QN43Q60TAFXZA, 2020 Model - Q60T 43 QLED TV that came with a Samsung BN59-01274A Smart Remote Control.
c) NVidia Shield Pro (2019)

You want a remote with macro capabilities. I did a quick Amazon search for "universal remote with macros" and got several results. Here's one that says it works with the nVidia Shield and has macros.
