- Some users have a version of software on their box which allows the IR in plug to control another piece of equipment, like a VCR. This is NOT turned on for every box nor does it serve as a true "IR IN".
- This box does NOT support video or voltage sensing
- This box turns ON every time it needs to record something which adds another layer of difficulty to the control aspect.
- This box runs hot and needs to be well ventilated.
- This box uses a cable card which can be used by Tivo and some TVs. (The cable card is not supported in all areas by the cable providers.) |
