Dave Swindell's TSU3000

For: Philips Pronto NG | Christmas brought a new Denon AVR-4306 receiver! I've updated my standard home theatre PCF file with lots of 4306 discretes, as documented in the Denon IR documentation on the web site. Of special note are discretes for complete Zone 2 and Zone 3 control, XM-Connect and Play support, including an XM chanel guide with *all* current XM stations programmed for one button access via the Denon, and macros for zone 2 and zone 3 control. I'll be working on iPod and net audio support soon, but I wanted to get this version upload so others can access the discretes. Note that all discrete codes are on "hidden" pages prefixed "IR" There are several hundred IR codes provided, thanks to utilities by Paul Friedlander and John Fine, as well as the Denon documentation.

David's New Home Theater System

For each device I have a hidden IR page which holds all the codes available for the device. There are some saved IR pages for devices not currently in use. I have to fake discrete codes for the Samsung DVD and Blu-ray even though the Samsung plasma has them - go figure.

David Shaw's Dark PCF

For: Philips Pronto NG | Here is my Midnite PCF (black ground with lite colored buttons) for the Pronto 3000. The buttons are all original (except for a couple that I borrowed elsewhere). All the buttons have been tweaked for display on the remote. It has several wait pages for when a long macro plays. All devices have discrete power on and off. I have duplicated the cursor buttons on a lot of the screens because the wife has trouble pushing the "Hard" buttons with her arthritus.

David Shaw's White PCF

For: Philips Pronto NG | This is a "White" version of my Midnite PCF. There have been some new bitmaps added, many modified, and a few minor changes.Just about any page is only 2 or 3 button pushes away. I even used rocker switches for my power on and off buttons! It has been cetified as wife friendly. The PCF has been tested in the 3000 remote and most of the bitmaps had to be darkened for best viewing. There is a lot of difference between the simulator and the actual remote views.

Dennis Wilkinson's Complete System

Simple and Elegant Home Theater Control

For: Philips Pronto NG | Mix of custom and downloaded images from other files found on Remote Central. I designed this system to be very easy to learn and use for anyone visiting our theater. The driving factor was to make it as easy as possible for my wife to use when I'm not home. Two of the items I really like are the homepage, which happens to be a picture of the entrance to my home theater and the series of macros that are built into many of the options. All in all, I've been very pleased with this setup and have been using it for over 3 years now. I did a recent refresh of the channel logos and type to ensure it's all similar in look and feel.
