For: Philips Pronto NG | I know that this is really closer to software than to an actual operating system, but I call this PCF SamOS. My approach was to use the hard buttons as a means for consistent navigation, making it easy for the user to get anywhere on the remote in no more than two button presses. I've created custom graphics to give each device its own personality and vibe. I've also made use of drop-down menus in a few sections. I hope you dig it.

Both wife and kids can use the PCF easily but still allows full access to all commands contained within the individual remotes if needed. Grog's Hard Button Layout

For: Philips Pronto NG | Great for a broken touchscreen! Goals for this layout:- Use hard buttons ONLY for control - yes, it can be done! I was gifted a TSU3500 with a busted touchscreen. Layout on screen is a map of the hard button layout.
- High contrast, large buttons on screen for readability. Clear text instead of greyscale bitmaps. Each hard button maps to its one screen button.
- Task oriented, e.g. 'Watch DVD' and 'Listen Radio'
- Universal 'All Off' and 'Home' buttons that work in all screens
- Fast download time to remote / small file size (no fancy bitmaps)
This is the simplest, most functional, least fancy layout I could create. It also works great on my TSU3000 (with a working touchscreen.)

Malform's Thredz Theme

Tim's Discrete Workaround PCF

For: Philips Pronto NG | The main reason for uploading this configuration is show one way of working around lack of discrete on/off codes for devices. I wanted a shut down all button but with the normal power on/off toggle this didn't work too well. A device that was off during shut down would power up. This is a configuration that will accomplish the task, albeit not as cleanly as one would like.
