Bill Spence's MX-700 System From: Bill Spence For: HTM MX-700 (System) | Many hard to find discrete codes. I use the mute and prev ch buttons to toggle between my receiver and DVD/TiVo. I also use push and hold macros extensively. My two DSS receivers are next to each other so I have one set for ID 1 and the other to ID 51. I am still looking for a VIDEO 7 discrete for the TV and any Yamaha DSP discretes. Thanks to Greg for doing the hex conversions! Devices: CD: Sony CDP-CX400, DSS 1: Sony SAT-HD200, DSS 2: Sony SAT-T60, DVD: Sony DVP-NS755V, Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3200, Television: Sony KV-34XBR800 | File: bill-spence_mxf.zip Size: 25kb Date: 12/30/02 |
Bill Wilson's Home Theater From: Bill Wilson For: HTM MX-700 (System) | I have it so that I can control the DSP fuctions of my DSP-A1 and Dolby and DTS setting on each device so that I can switch between them and stereo easily. So I am sure a lot of you will need to erase buttons you don't need but I believe all the nessasary ones are there. I have discrete codes for everything except the Motorola cable box. Darin Cline's Setup From: Darin Cline For: HTM MX-700 (System) | Not yet complete. The main purpose of this file is to show the use of press & hold macros. Each device button on the main menu is a press & hold macro... press normally, and the required components turn on & get set to the appropriate settings, and the remote is switched to that device page. Press very quickly (0.1 seconds) and the remote switches to the device page, but none of the macros are run. For me, this is more convenient that the standard method of bypassing the macros by holding down the MAIN button while hitting the device button. Press & holds are also used in the TiVo and DVD devices to combine multiple commands into one hard button... FF becomes forward skip if you hold it for more than 0.2 seconds, RR-rear skip, play-1 minute jump, pause-slomo. Also, the power off on individual devices turns off only that device if you press less than 0.1 seconds, or the whole system turns off if you press normally (more than 0.1 seconds). Devices: DSS/HDTV: Samsung SIR-TS160, DSS/DVR: Philips DSR6000, DVD: Pioneer DV-563A, Lighting: X-10 IR543, Receiver 1: Onkyo TX-SR700, Receiver 2: Sherwood RD-6108, Television: Sony KP-46WT510 | File: darin-cline_mxf.zip Size: 22kb Date: 04/28/04 |

Dave Fitzgerald's MX-850 From: Dave Fitzgerald For: HTM MX-700 (System) | This is a system setup for my own personal system. Some of them are discrete, some are not. There was a few pieces that had no discretes, so I improvised. The Onkyo receiver is part of a HTIB and with the power, only the off command is discrete. I could not find any discrete on command for this model. The TV has no discrete power or inputs so that was the toughest. I found a way to trick the system and work around the lack of discrete inputs. The only reason it worked is becuase this TV has seperate input commands for composite and componet and as long as you know the order, it's easy to trick and works flawlessly. I had to use an all on command because the lack of discrete on this TV. Devices: DVD: RCA DRS700N, Cable: Pace, Receiver: Onkyo HT-R410, Television: Samsung TX-M2796HF, VCR: Mitsubishi HS-U746 | File: dave-fitzgerald_mxf.zip Size: 14kb Date: 06/05/05 |

David Harrison's MX-700 From: David Harrison For: HTM MX-700 (System) | This is an improved (more compact and efficient use of MX-700) file, compared to my earlier posting. In this new posting, the format of the buttons is aligned with the content of the "Guide to Simple Home Theater Operation" provided with the remote - so my family can now refer to the guide. It incorporates discrete ON/OFF for the Yamaha receiver, an on/off workaround for the old analogue Foxtel box, and a discrete off code for the Teac set top box (derived from hex code loaded into a Pronto editor, then imported). Devices: Cable: Pace STU-100, CD: Sony CDP-C245, DVD: Pioneer DV-344, Receiver: Yamaha RX-V750, STB: Teac DV-B800, Television: Pioneer PDP-435FDE, VCR: Sharp VC-H84 | File: david-harrison_mxf.zip Size: 22kb Date: 10/23/05 |
David Markowitz's System Setup From: David Markowitz For: HTM MX-700 (System) | This system file contains all existing discretes for these devices with the exception of a few input settings on the HS10 that I don't use. It includes the hard to learn joystick commands of the SIR-T150! It also has X-10 lighting using scenes, Makita curtains and a Stewart screen on a single ROOM page, with several interesting macros that control all of those things and pause/play movies. Devices: CD: Denon DCM-320, Draperies: Makita, DVD: V Inc.
