This week we take a look at the recently released $39.99 USD MSRP
Sony RM-VL700. Many of you will already be familiar with the $59.99
Sony RM-VL900 (
reviewed here), an economical 8-device remote that has proved quite popular due to its amazing learning capabilities. Well, those same capabilities have been carried over to the new, less expensive RM-VL700. This new remote features control of 5 devices - ideal for a secondary system - and comes with a preprogrammed code database and enough learning space for 180 codes. It sports a slim, ergonomic design with separate keypad, transport and menu keys, positioned in a logical arrangement.
Naturally, something had to go for the 33% price cut - but what? Our detailed review, packed with photographs, will answer this and hopefully any other questions that you might have. You'll find a brand new User Reviews category for the RM-VL700, new Infrared Comparison photos, plus complete specifications entered into our Clicker Picker remote control selector.
