We have a quick video for you this Friday, and although it’s not directly related to automation systems it’s still rather nifty.
Jason Williams from Yale Locks & Hardware shows off their new Near Field Communication (NFC) residential lock system, which uses a mobile phone to hold and wirelessly transmit electronic door keys. To borrow a cliché, the future is now!
As usual you’ll find HD encodes of the video in both 720p and 1080p resolutions, plus a “regular” version for those on a bandwidth diet. The highly recommended HD versions should play on the majority of modern PCs with the latest Adobe Flash player, but if you have any difficulties try the “regular” version.
Stay tuned for the final two videos next week!
Features push-to-talk voice control of Amazon Alexa and Apple TV via Siri.
