Sony RM-VL600 Features:

Controls up to 8 devices: The RM-VL600 features direct hard button access to TV, DVD, Satellite, Cable, VCR, CD< Tape and Amp devices.

Supports 39 commands per device: The RM-VL600 has 4 more buttons than either the RM-VL700 or RM-VL900, and the same number of buttons as the RM-VL710.

Infrared code learning: The RM-VL600 can learn up to 324 infrared codes from your existing remote controls. Codes can be up to 500KHz in frequency and 250 bits in length.

Preprogrammed codes: The RM-VL600 includes a database with more than 600 non-Sony preprogrammed code sets. Preset codes are included for all-in-one home theater systems, analog and digital cable boxes, CD players, DVD players, digital video recorders, HDTV tuners, mini systems, MiniDisc decks, receivers/amplifiers, satellite receivers, tape decks, televisions, VCRs and TV/VCR combos. A built-in code search feature allows for easy code number discovery.

4 System Control & 8 Component Select macros: Each macro can contain up to 16 commands, making the RM-VL600 capable of automating almost any task.

Volume punchthrough: Allows all devices to control either the television or amplifier’s volume controls.

9 LEDs: Informative LEDs help make programming the remote easier and general operation more intuitive.

Memory backup: Maintains settings even when batteries are removed.
