This is one damn funny post... One of the funniest I think I've ever read on this forum.

PT Barnum is rolling over in his grave laughing his ass off.

Why are these morons posting on this site?..for
sympathy?..strength in numbers?..to show that
there is a general lack of common sense running
rampant in this country??..if someone,,anyone
would approch me in a PARKING LOT to sell me something
my first thought would be its hot!!!..my second
would be to put as much distance between myself
and them as possible before calling the cops..there
is no other term for these people ...the buyers
that is,...IDIOTS!

It's a modified version of the BDTs. People go out on the web after they do something to look it up, find a couple comments in this thread direct from Google or whatever, post their own. The posting is weird, but understandable. The sneaky purchase arrangements just prove either Barnum or half of Proverbs.

Man oh man,

They just got me less than an hour ago.. I'm in houston as well driving down Westheimer minding my business when two guys, a white dude and a mexican guy pull me over (not in a van or durango I might add) stating the same thing as everyone else has said... "We just took this order for our boss and they messed up at the warehouse and gave them two instead of one, they showed me the invoice for $2499 and I told them I didnt need them because I already have a full system.. I got in my car and then one of them came running, they first said $500 and i said no then as i was driving off he said $250, I said no again... He tried to get me to go to an atm but I said I will give you what i have for them..... $170 made him open the box etc... Couldnt wait to get home to see how much they were really worth online being that i was suspicious.. and all i found was this thread... I dont really feel like I got ripped because the equipment looks good enough to be worth $100 plus but kinda upset because the only reason I got them was because I was getting a steal... And yes the guy did say that he was out of League City, Tx..

By the way they have upgraded to the L8 model ha ha ha... if i can hook it up and it works i'm good with what i paid!!! ha ha ha

Yes, the most certainly spread to New Orleans. My husband just got scammed by 2 guys in a blue van ouside the Home Depot on Clearview Parkway. He called me on the phone to tell me about his great deal. I immediately got online to check it out. After about an hour of searching for the Theatre Logic L6 and not finding any information on this product, I new he got taken. Finally I found this site and realize its a nationwide operation. He is going back to Home Depot tomorrow and wait for them. He also has some friends to stake out the other Home Depots in New Orleans. I told him to just drop it, because he was actually thinking he was buying stolen property and he deserved to lose the money. God does not sleep.

WOW, they work fast!!! I just had a customer call me to find out about this system. Same blue durango with texas plates. Was approached in the lowes parking lot on the westbank in New Orleans. I luckily saw this thread and warned them away. Good Job!

Can we rename this post, "It's my first day!!! and I just got scammed!!"

Never seen so many "1" posts in my life...

I am amazed by the stupidity of the posts in this thread. You people have never heard "You get what you paid for"? Obviously not...

i think i can understand all the posting i believe it is miserey needs company, know what it mean? well im misserable becasue my bonehead husband just paid for a tuff lesson in texas city,400.00 lesson that is!!! same story two guys deal of a life time . they said they were just trying to make back the money that they were out by the client not wanting the speakers anymore , they had all the right info ... reciepts catolog .....now we are the proud owners of the upgraded version L8 and the incredible deal of the 1620 tower speakers woo hoo!!!! well he is out of town on buisness , im in tennessee . when he called me he was excited , he told me how good of a deal it was and i just got a sick feeling , becasue about 4 or 5 months ago i was approached in a gas station parking lot in tennessee..... with the same stinking story!!!! but i was smart enough to walk away and told the gas station attendent to call the cops. the whole thing completley slipped my mind and i did not say anything to my husband about it because ..... well who would have thought that he would be faced with the same decision clear across the country in texas!!! wow they must have been good becasue my husband really is a smart man and is so skeptical about anything like that . and does not turn loose of his money very easy , he is one of those guys when you buy him something for bday or Christmas or anything like that he says with all the sicerety in the world "ID RATHER HAD THE MONEY" Oh well i guess this time i get to say "ID RATHER HAD THE MONEY!!!!! LOVE HIM ANYWAY!!!i
